Doing a Duke Nukem adaptation at this point seems kind of funny to me because does anyone actually give a shit about Duke Nukem anymore? I never really saw the appeal to begin, but it's been like 20+ years since series has had an even half-decent entry, and is most recently known for a massive disappointment fifteen years in the making.Fun fact: Zero Puntuation's Yahtzee Croshaw was approached to pen the outline of Duke Nukem Forever. But was quickly kicked to the curb when his focus would be on making Duke the butt of the joke because the character was an anachronistic dinosuar by modern standards.
