That happened because someone tried to ad hom their way out of a separate issue. I wasn't arguing their character. I was arguing the ad hom. And then the same scenario happened a few weeks later with somebody praising Stalin. I dont even remember that one, so *shrug* So, y'know, habits are noticeable.
