I just disagree that many people prefer suburbs and rural areas over the city because of all this american idealism and thinking that being around lots of people and using public transit is a sign of failure. Thats just legitimately a huge exaggeration on your part and largely untrue imo. I think a lot of people just simply value a quieter life with more privacy. It doesnt have to be any more complicated than that. Same reason many probably prefer cars over public transit. Being in large crowds honestly kinda sucks especially if you're all coming and going from your 9-5s ... Copied to Clipboard! |
