Gen X was the most pro-Trump age group on 2024 by a lot, also I believe the only age group he actually won meaning that Gen X is so MAGA they singlehandedly won the election for Trump. This isnt just a US thing either, in Europe Boomers tend to back the traditional centre right parties while Gen Xers are more supportive of the far right. Though every generation has a lot of variation within it also.

Boomers are too rich to do anything but back the centrist parties that would preserve their wealth. With Trump, he only lost Boomers by a very small margin. And he didn't lose Millennials by all that much either. Mostly, his support among younger voters relative to older ones was much better than Republicans have had for decades.
