I do see people as idiots if they keep on losing money over and over and keep at it, anyway. The addicts obviously need help, but I'm talking about people still in control of themselves but who choose to make foolish decisions. The house doesn't necessarily defeat every person, but that's not really the goal. Every time someone plays, they statistically win.
