I have no idea what marathon is It's a first person shooter series developed by Bungie that was first released on the Macintosh around the same time as doom. It's actually responsible for a shocking number of firsts in the genre and if I'm being completely fair really deserves the spot that Doom has taken by being on a much more popular platform. The original trilogy is basically about you as the main character helping an AI that has gained sentience attempt to escape the solar system so it can start planning for how to survive the heat death of the universe. Edit: and I guess something else worth mentioning is that it is heavily implied the HALO Series exists in the same universe and that Master Chief may in fact be AI himself. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
