I'm in a different squad with two other CEmen but are you all still using the one Hambo posted in the last topic(Squad ID is MK86Q9SH)? Because I have yet to join that one but I do wanna play with Hambo and anyone else I used to play with here.

Mounting works like status buildup. You have to hit them with mounting-enabled attacks over and over again, and when the "status" builds up enough to trigger a mount, it happens. But it gets harder each time it happens. First one is super easy though.
