Topic	What's something you irrationally dislike?

I irrationally hate the phrase "It is what it is", it's such a stupid and meaningless phrase that does and says NOTHING to the person it's being said to. The reason this is an irrational dislike is because I feel the "such is life" phrase is the same but I'm completely unbothered by it. You see, I'm the opposite. I say "It is what it is" all the time as a way of accepting that a situation can't and shouldn't be approached from a perspective of correcting it and to just deal with it. "Such is life" and "C'est La Vie" not only sounds pretentious to me, but feels more defeatist, at least from the people I tend to hear it from. <cite>Salrite posted [p:984327885] in What's som...
