Oh, maybe it's "Maga aga gaga aga". That sounds pretty close to most of what they say, so could be it.
It's a complete fuckin' aside but a piece of developmental trivia I like that this popped into my head:

"Babbling" in infant development refers to the repeated nonsense sounds made by a child figuring out their language centers, usually impersonating something they hear with a syllable followed by stuff that rhymes or sounds similar. Mom says "Boy," baby says "Buh huh fuh guh?"

The cool thing is that infants babble differently depending on the language spoken in the home. A Japanese infant babbles differently than one in Peru.

The really cool thing is that it even shows up in homes where the main communication is sign language. I've seen videos where an infant will hold up a hand and make a pseudo-sign (like "most of the letter S" or something) then start "babbling" in the same manner, just with their hands instead of mouths.
