FFD selling was what made me watch the show so we can be teleskimovision brothers

It is really very good, though I'm not sure if it'd fit with what you like, but I also introduced it to my parents and they were hooked too (and their usual t.v. fare is reality tv and network cop/detective procedurals). The first season just felt so different from anything else, really just such a unique experience which the second season is really continuing.

But yeah depending how many more seasons this runs you're looking at many years before it finishes. Almost 3 year break between seasons which they can blame on the writer's strike but that's still way too long. So depending how many more seasons they run it for & what the waits between seasons it'll be a while before it's all done...
