Battlefield 1 went with the right blend of big maps, small villas among the checkpoints. Gave foot soldiers some cover to work with, but not to the point where they would be safe from bombing raids/ artillery or explosion bombardments via tanks and whatnot Oh I definitely like large maps with options.
