Batman: The Video Game (Game Boy)
Replay. This version is way different than the NES version. It's a simple action/platformer with the Super Mario Land aesthetic but with Batman wielding a gun .I also like the Batwing levels they put in for variety. It's a fun one by Sunsoft with a great OST to go along with it.

Altered Beast (Genesis)
Replay. I booted up my Sega Genesis Mini the other day and was just compelled to go through it again.

Super Ultimate Fighters (Switch)
Replay. I was going through my Switch library to see if there were any updates to any games I owned and I was surprised this game got yet another update. They added 5 more new characters each with 5 different fighting styles: Hung Kuen, Silat, Lethwei, Matador and Martial Arts. Completed Arcade Mode with the new characters.

Balacera Brothers (PC)
"Balacera Brothers is a run-and-gun action game set in a world plagued by crime and darkness. Join heroes Harold and Benny as they take a break from their ska band to battle the merciless Nugnur and his army of evil skeletons in this adventure inspired by classics like Sunset Riders and the original Contra."

It was very good. It took me 4 attempts to finally beat the game. I had a little difficulty on Normal. I turned it down a notch on Easy but the game told me to play it on a higher difficulty level when you beat Level 5. I went back to Normal and conquered it.

There are 6 Levels in the game. The Laser and Flamethrower are very strong, they are the boss killers. Spreader is decent crowd control and while Homing is weak, it does a good job of shooting targets at least. Game has a good OST music as well if you like Ska. I recommend if you're looking for another game like Contra.

Sunset Riders (Arcade)
Replay. After finishing Balacera Brothers, I was still in the mood for a few more games and Sunset Riders was one of them. Cormano FTW.

Contra (Famicom)
Replay. Played via Contra Anniversary Collection (PC). After finishing Balacera Brothers and Sunset Riders, I showed off the Famicom version of Contra to one of my viewers on my stream and they were very surprised about the existence of this version. It is a really cool version of the game with the extra story and the small little graphical differences. Got the 1CC.

VVVVVV (PC)
I'm finally glad I got to play this one. Switching between the floor and ceiling is fun. "Pressure Cooker" is my fave track in the game.

Sonic Mania (PC)
Finally got around to playing this one as well. I used to watch this game played a lot on many streams when it first came out. I didn't have the means to play this game until a few years later. I had it sitting in my backlog along with the DLC. I finally found the time to play this game for myself

This game was solid. My first time around I was only able to get 2 Chaos Emeralds during my normal playthrough. I even 1CC'd it for the first time. I then went back to get the rest of the Chaos Emeralds and got to fight the true final boss. "Lights, Camera, Action! - Studiopolis Zone Act 1" is my fave track.
