I live in the "bush capital", so we have a mix between regular city life and "rural" areas.
There's been times I've gone for a bike ride and I'll see a brown snake (another one of the most venomous creatures) sun baking on the bike path. And as you get close to it, they'll quickly slither away.
Most things are harmless unless you provoke them. And they're pretty rare.
You're more at risk of a kangaroo jumping out onto the road and hitting that with your car than you are to get bitten or run across one of these super deadly creatures. Roos are a menace to our roads.
But if you go real country, this can happen....

Raining spiders!!!!! Enjoy your sleep! One place this happens is only about 1.5 - 2 hours away from me.
