All the protection rules and softening of the game have killed it and made it an offense based QB league with lower talent levels at the QB position league wide as a whole than previously and unbalanced rosters because of how overpaid QBs are that arent on rookie contracts or diamonds in the rough that bloomed late. And its done nothing really to make the game safer as there seems to be more injuries than ever. Sadly its more profitable than ever.
