Looks like they failed to me honestly. I mean watch when they had to start over in the footage they have the sail out. You could say oh they were just getting back to where they were faster, but screw that if you get to the last boss on a no death run and die that doesnt mean you can start over and die to everything before the last boss.

Also the air pumping while gliding should count as wind imo as you are forcing the air down to boost yourself up to slow your decent which is a benefit from wind/moving air.

dude these challenge runs are up to the person doing them for what does and does not count
