LOL at Republicans denying that Project 2025 is the plan.
Of course it's the plan.

But, but Trump said it wasn't the plan...

Of course it's the plan. Trump himself doesn't have any policies, so his administration's policies will be whatever his GOP minders want them to be.
And Trump will surround himself with the GOP scum that wrote Project 2025.
Personnel is policy.

You're looking at this from the wrong point of view. Trump sometimes feels the need to reward those who put him in power. Hence the weakening of the Johnson Amendment, putting anti-choice dominionists in the SCOTUS, and going after Trans people, despite the fact that Trump doesn't believe in any of that shit and in some cases is actually opposed to it (but see, none of those will affect him personally. If he needs some chick to get an abortion, he can simply fly her out of the country to get one. And Trump isn't going to be affected in any way by the other two.
Do note that this isn't always a good litmus test on what type of bone he'll throw to his supporters. He had wanted to censor the media for more than a decade, in spite of the fact that, outside of dictator powers, this law would affect his precious Newsmax, OANN, etc. even more than it would affect CNN/MSNBC/NYT/Fox News/etc. a lot worse. Hence why none of the neocons *and only a minority of Tea Party republicans* support it)
