Uh... apparently gamefreak wrote a bunch of stories involving pokemon where they basically had the pokemon take the place of mythological figures involving dubious consent and children with humans. It doesn't really have any actual bearing on the franchise, Typhlosion is not a shape shifter for example, but people are of course going to overreact and go crazy about it on the internet.
