That it exists and is popular on that board gives a rather offputting and uncomfortable feeling towards interacting with the other people on the board in other capacities, especially if you don't hide that you are a woman yourself. Hell, it's a large reason I don't really join a lot of gaming communities I might otherwise like and enjoy. Stuff like this makes it unpleasant to be a part of. Very good point, well put. I was actually thinking about this a few minutes ago and almost tried saying similar in my earlier post here. The intent behind most of the changes Fandom has made was to make the site more welcoming to new users, whether we want to accept that or not, whether they have succeeded or not ... that still seems to be the general idea. The constant hony topics made it really hard to actually recommend this place to others, a lot of the content actually. I wouldn't be a fan of my 13 year old nephew browsing this place, and I'm the irresponsible "cool" uncle who bought him Doom 2016. --- "Well, thanks to the Internet, I'm now bored with sex." - Philip J.
