Nobody is forcing anyone to click on anything -- what it does, however, is contribute to making up the sense of 'what kind of community is this' and for me at least, when I see these kinds of topics brought to so many bloody corners of the internet, it creates a really strong "you're an object" sense for myself and other women who might otherwise be interested in the actual topic of the board. I see this with popular 'horny posts' on gaming subreddits as well.

It's not about not entering the topic. That it exists and is popular on that board gives a rather offputting and uncomfortable feeling towards interacting with the other people on the board in other capacities, especially if you don't hide that you are a woman yourself. Hell, it's a large reason I don't really join a lot of gaming communities I might otherwise like and enjoy. Stuff like this makes it unpleasant to be a part of.
