Yep, but not until a few years ago because there weren't any around where I live. Then I was at Concord Mills and decided to get a two-piece (one regular, one spicy) and holy hell that was few absolute best fried chicken I'd ever had in my life. The breading was tasty, the chicken tender and juicy, and the spicy piece actually was spicy and not just 'hot'; I feel like a lot of places that do spicy chicken, you might as well just pour hot sauce on your tongue, because the heat overpowers the flavor. But Popeyes spicy was very well-balanced.

All that said, I do still prefer KFC mashed potatoes and gravy.

Also, the chicken sandwich is good, but not to the same level as their regular chicken, and to me it pales in comparison to a classic Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Only real complaint about the Popeyes sandwich, though, is that every single time I've ordered one, I say 'no sauce', but it will have sauce on it.
