The deluge of public crazy from Republicans is overwhelming for the normies. They can't keep track of it. So they just chalk it up to leftists making mountains out of what must be molehills.

But the reality is that they're not molehills. They're fucking volcanos that people are pretending aren't actually erupting.

It's not just that. It's that change doesn't happen overnight, and people are generally really bad at evaluating things that happen over time and/or abstract threats.

Like the people who didn't believe in covid until they personally got it. There were people on their deathbed with covid, and some of them were literally blaming the people trying to help them.
