Yeah I've noticed Swamp Thing is a cult fan favorite around the internet the past decade or so, but haven't really found out what people like about him or his stories specifically. Something about them being noir? My love for Swamp Thing came out of being exposed to Vertigo. But, I was honestly pleased how not-bad the non-Vertigo one was for New 52. Except that last couple... Future's End or something? With The Metal? I barely remember it except, "Now this is silly, because that can't possibly be an Elemental force. The Grey was really pushing it, but it somehow worked.
