I hope people don't think I'm a bigot for this one, but I felt like a lot the discourse around Hogwarts Legacy was unfair.

I'm not trying to discount how trans people felt because of Rowling's terrible words and attitude towards them, but the people who made the game aren't a part of that, and iirc, there was even a trans character.

I know she gets money since it's her brand, but unless if you are conscious of where the money goes for each of your purchases, it feels hypocritical to criticize others for buying it.

I think most reasonable people had this mindset, and were able to differentiate Hogwarts Legacy and the development team behind it from their creator.
