If they are only talking about one of those people, what the other one would do / has done is not a defence. What does "is bad for dems" mean? They will lose the election? And who is involved in this election? You are not just talking about Biden alone. You are comparing to Trump because you are talking about the election and it being bad for dems. How is it bad for the dems if Trump promises to do worse is the big elephant in the room.
