Props to TC, this is a hard choice. These are 4 great wrestlers, but yeah Edge loses out. He really cant compare to the others on this list.
Yeah I was trying to think of dudes that were fringe top guys instead of top guys themselves. Maybe never the most popular or best of their eras but consistently maybe around top 5 or so.

I think Rey is an interesting study and I'm a bit biased cuz I'm a San Diego native lol. But he did bring that aura of undersized underdog in an era when big hulking muscle dudes were beloved. And also his impact of bringing luchadore style wrestling (along with Eddie?) to WCW/WWE. There were others like Psychosis, La Parka, Ultimo Dragon, but Rey was by far the most popular and lasted longest and I feel like WWE was consistently trying to find the next Rey for quite some time.
