Doing 10k steps seems like a pain when you ain't gotta do it but when you can get it done just doing your job it really doesn't seem so bothersome.

I didn't do it one go though it was over the course of a 12 hour shift. For the first 4 hours od a shift I would walk for 5 minutes every 15 minutes. After that initial 4 hours I got a hour to sit and after that it was a hour of walking every 15 minutes then back sitting for a hour rinse and repeat rest of the shift.

And it came out to like 5.26 miles according to a fit it.

I have done 16 miles In a 12 hour shift
yeah when I was waiting tables an average shift was about 13 or so miles. it's tough when you have to focus on doing it. i usually just walk it out on a treadmill but i've been thinking of buying one of those walking pads to just use at home instead
