What I remember most was a save point failure at the end. As in, you have to climb a really high tower and then go into the world of darkness while fighting a gauntlet of bosses and there are no save points from starting the tower climb and onward. Considering the Final Boss could kill you easily if you haven't grinded HP to survive their strongest attack, this is really bad practice. This was the biggest flaw of 3, and even the creator thinks so. You either went in blind, probably died, and wasted hours of your life or you grinded all the fun out of the game and face rolled. Pixel remaster apparently solved that and also got rid of the other flaw of there being an arbitrary punishment for switching classes. Only downside imo is that bosses only have one move per turn again. Kind of liked bosses getting 2-4 attacks on the DS/PSP version. Not to mention the characters have actual names and personalities. Well, sort of. --- Black Lives Matter. ~DYL~ (On mobile) ... Copied to Clipboard! |
