You know how I like to point out these fearmongering topics are pointless at best and abjectly counterproductive at worst?

Let's ignore that for a second.

What is the benefit of declaring for a candidate this far out? If you want to influence policy, you're giving up the only card you have to play. If there is something, anything you'd like to change about the current administration, doesn't it make more sense to bring the tiny amount of leverage you can apply, even if you're actually 100% locked in to your preferred candidate?
Trying to influence US policy on Israel right now is a lost cause. We need to prepare for the future when it can actually be done.

And it seems like CountCorvinus wasn't asking that question in good faith. Oh well their posts are no big loss to me.
