We bought one of those and it cost a fortune, but our electric bill literally went down by like 25% so it paid for itself. Just a regular one. I asked about a heat pump but it would cost me $6k for the pump and re-fitting my plumbing for it. I didn't have that cash right now but I'm defintiely thinking of it for the future. ...
