I gather you are implying tv as of late is okay with being malicious in stereotypes to white straight males, but not non straight white males. Can you elaborate on this please? What are we classifying as malicious that stereotypes against black people or gay people or Asian people or Latinos, etc.... can't be seen as anymore malicious than the ones directed at straight white males.

For example the Asian being a karate intellectual genius. I know some might think it's not a harmful stereotype, but it puts unfair pressure or assumptions Asians are all karate warriors good at math. Or the old hair salon stereotype.

Latinos stereotypes of them slaving away in jobs Americans don't want such as house cleaning or farming.

We could go on and on. I'm just trying to figure what metric are we using here to say stereotypes on straight white men isn't anymore malicious than stereotypes on other races and groups of people.
