Now I know a certain part of the fan base will deny it because it goes against their woke conspiracy, but when Lucas first sold the franchise, people were hopeful that it might turn around because its own creator already made such a mess of it. That said, Disney can still turn things around. They just need to make releases more scarce, hire directors that actually have a passion for the ip, and leave them alone to do the job they were paid to do.
