Topic	Headphone recommendations time

They do feel a bit cheap but I care more about the sound quality than looks. i've heard many great things about that headphone and would like to try it someday. the most compareable i have is the sundara (2020 version) and i enjoy it a lot and consider it endgame after some eq to its bass. based on graphs the 4xx doesn't need as much eq in the bass area since it doesn't drop as much. i like +5 above that point. Umm their mids are the most noticeably different. seems like 4xx has more of a eggshaped hifiman mids (like arya and he1000 series) that is quite nice IMO. but yeah i gotta try them out for sure --- I'm a Taurus.
