People liked Phoenix's characterization and, to an extent, Khura'in's characterization. Gaspen and the Divination Seance was also liked. People had diverging opinions on Andistan'dhin, who was either amusing or got annoying fast. Everyone agreed that the pacing could use some work.

Summary:

The Ace Attorney Assistant Curse finally hits Trucy when a fatal 'accident' during rehearsal claims the life of a fellow magician - and she's held responsible. With Phoenix abroad, Apollo and Athena leap to Trucy's defense, and get their own taste of Khura'in when international prosecutor Nahyuta Sahdmadhi takes the case.

My rating: 5.5/10. I really want to give this case somewhere around 7/10. Trucy finally gets some focus and she does a great job! Mr. Reus, as a concept, is an interesting premise of a villain that doesn't feel retconned into an already completed story. Bonny, Betty, and Retinz are fun characters; though, we could really use a couple more characters. The game's premise of "a crowd that actively hates you" is interestingly translated in Japanifornia with Retinz whipping up a Twitter mob. But...I dunno. The murder is a bit much, Retinz isn't wholly satisfying to take down, and Sahdmadhi just feels like an anchor weighing this case down. It's weird at the beginning of the game that the Khura'inian prosecutor is fought against in Japanafornia and it's weird at the end of the game when you work out Apollo and Sahdmadhi's relationship and...they have a whole case against each other and it's just nothing.
