One time when I had a half day off and Mrs. Devsman left her water bottle at home and wanted me to bring it to her, I got in the car, drove to her workplace, went to the front desk, told them I had it for her. Well, despite my asking why I can't just text her to come out front and get it, they sent me to the delivery dock (?), so I went there. The delivery dock sent me back to the front desk (??), so I just said thanks and left.
I figured that would be the end of it but oh no. They went and tracked her down... for some reason... and interrogated her about it, and it became some great whodunnit thing of why I didn't go back to the front desk.
It's not like she worked at a missile silo. It was an insurance company.
Haha, always leave them wanting more, I guess.
