I was born in 76 so even in the 80's I was already watching a lot of reruns of popular shows from the 60's and 70's. I also watched a lot of what was at the time current shows in the 80's.

I have multiple channels dedicated to these old shows and I still currently watch more of them than I do current tv. Almost all of my tv watching is older shows and movies.

For the most part I still love like 95% of them and think they hold up. Sure some things are a little dated, certain episodes the comedy might not hit as hard but overall I still quite like them.

Just in the last few months I rewatched a handful of Alf shows. A show I loved as a kid and watched every episode. I just don't enjoy it now. The forced canned laugh track at EVERY line annoyed me for some reason. Sure I know laugh tracks exist and I'm used to them on many shows but at least save it for the punch line, not every damn line.

And the jokes just fell very very flat. I honestly didn't even crack a smile and I'm not hard to please. That is one show from my youth I just don't enjoy rewatching very much.
