I'm guessing they had decent plans already to roll out the Switch 2 and then saw the Steam Deck, Legion Go, Asus ROG Ally, and all the other handhelds and had to re-evaluate the horsepower and design for theirs and that's why they pushed back the launch which in turn effected the release of their launch titles.
