Well, I would say it was the US Supreme Court that appointed Bush when they intervened to stop Florida's recount. You're right that the EC caused that, but I think at that point in time they were just the mechanism for defrauding the election, rather than the EC being the primary defrauder in 2016. DoesntMatter posted... i never thought Trump would actually be capable of doing any tangible harm while in office. i thought he would just bumble about and be ineffectual and blustery, and then in four years we would get back on track. Yep, I thought this too. How naive about our political landscape I was. DoesntMatter posted... i also realized that if he lost, his ego would prevent him from conceding and peacefully transferring power to his successor. i called it months in advance. he would be willing to do ANYTHING in order to stay in office and maintain power for himself.
