See I wouldn't because for example if you took the Japanese characters for Dugtrio and translated it literally into English letters it would be "Dugtrio." However if you then translate "Dugtrio" back into the Japanese version of those letters it becomes Dagutrio or whatever, but that feels like too many steps for me.
