If Democratic judges must recuse themselves from cases involving Republicans because they'll allegedly be biased against them, then logically speaking, the inverse must also be true. Republican judges must recuse themselves because they're be biased for the defendant.

And, again, logically the opposite is must be true too. Democratic judges can't oversee cases involving Democrats because they'll favor them and Republican judges can't because they'll be out to get them.

So, by their reasoning, a Republican or Democratic politician may only be tried by a registered Independent judge. That's how asinine their reasoning is.
