Family Guy's always been such an anomaly of a show to me. It clearly does well enough to keep existing, but I don't think I've ever seen a single unironic fan of it anywhere.

Unlike all of its contemporaries (Simpsons, KotH, Futurama, South Park, even its sibling show American Dad to an extent), you never see anyone really talk about good episodes or moments. Like almost ANY video/clip I've seen on Youtube of any of those other shows will, without fail, have multiple upvoted comments about how it's so much better than Family Guy specifically, or how FG would've done it worse, or etc etc.

It's just always been weird to me.

Doesnt this happen to every show when it hits season 22? I hear what you are saying, but none of the shows you mentioned are the force they were-because they have been going on so long.

Family Guy never had the impact the Simpsons or South Park did, but there was plenty of conversation around it in its day. Now it is past 20 seasons and airing on Wed. nights.

I havent heard anyone really talking about any of these shows in years.
