I feel like if they tweaked the enemy design and called Quake Eternal, I would have liked it more. Doom 2016 was a perfect mix of classic and modern. From beginning to end it felt like you were playing Doom. Hell was still just Hell and the Doomslayers origins were not important. And Im not gonna lie, part of my enjoyment of the game was cause it had kind of a Metroid Prime feel to it as well.
