It's one of those topics that I think is fair to be argued for in either direction. It comes down to a person's morals & ethics. I would say that selectively aborting fetuses that you know will have debilitations or abnormalities is trying to control for more healthy progeny through eugenics, others might say no unless cells are being specifically altered through gene editing.

& Zmythos, I don't know if I'd say it's a "moral" quandary for GMOs as an aside. From what I know & see, the word has been heavily bastardized by misinformation & uninformed people knowing it as a boogeyman just like MSG. When ultimately, given climate change, pesticides, & as populations increase & resources become more scarce, technologies like GMOs will become incredibly important as a logical imperative, instead of being a moral dilemma.
