Topic	Where do you draw the line at animal captivity?

However, most people don't understand that a good chunk of zoos and aquariums (if AZA certified) are not just for entertainment. They are used for studying behavior and conservation, and many zoos also have live breeding programs for endangered species. There's also the argument that the public needs to see these animals in order to generate the interest in financially supporting conservation.
