OK this is crazy but the way my nana behaved is suspicious cos she has been very on edge for like 2 weeks out of my control just ranting about anything and everything. I said something like
"It's definitely the cat because the window was shut so that can't be it"
Then she said it was my fault I asked her why and then she said "you're annoying"
That's not relevant I pet the cat sometimes I don't annoy the cat at all
"It can't be me" she says
Then I blurted accidentally "it not impossible heh" I was downstairs for a long bit on my phone she went upstairs for the toilet I assumed
Then she ranted again about how it's impossible for a cat to scratch the screen like this???
1.Why is that impossible again? they have sharp claws
2. You have not even been and looked at my monitor yet, you have stayed down since i told you abour it's damage what do you mean the mark isnt possible for a cat to do??? How do u know the marks size or look? I bit my tongue didn't say and just let her continue then she said about warranty she said if its damaged by me or a cat and not a TV fault it can't be replaced
Then she went on the phone to her partner who came with and got the monitor with us and partner started saying maybe I raged and threw my controller at the screen (I know my nanas tricks very well she won't outright do little lies but she likes to pretend something is her fault idk why maybe to see how people react like I can't think of an exact situation but I am aware shes like that with her partner and my cousin but i cant think of specifics)
She said "we're talking about him not his cousin don't be daft" then they stopped talking on the phone
Then I (rather boldly and a bit harsh)-
"You don't think I did it but I thought more and the way some of my things on my desk moved doesn't look like what a cat did? Bit strange" in my thoughts it was me going My keyboard has turned vertical I just thought it looked off how does a keyboard go horizontal to vertical by a cat wtf and why is the mark of my monitor on the left side and then my switch dock fell on the left side too would a cat knock the switch dock first then do whatever to the monitor then leave when it's way easier for the cat to not do that and just touch the monitor relative to how my room is setup and then the switch Dock would knock over to the right and not the left?
It's just incredibly suspicious and knowing the past and her mood recently I wouldn't be shocked I just don't know why she's doing this thing where she wants me to say it's her and then say it's not can't she just be upfront and say she had a bad mood on her? It's not the first time and I am not the only one she's done this to she gaslit my cousin about a situation similar but it was more to do with a conflicting opinion and not actually damaging something like my situation
