I thought it was conservatives who freaked out over sex, cause you know religion and purity and stuff
First "sexy" needs to be defined. Because lately this whole "issue" has become a fabricated issue.

So I'll operate strictly on fanservice levels of "sexy."

This really isn't a political thing as both the left and the right have their number of people who are for or against it for different nuanced reasons.

You got the ones for it being:
"free the nipple" group. This group believes a women's breast should be free just like men's. But note, this group is genuine, and more akin to naturalist but not entirely, as there are a great number of fake supporters of this cause who just want to see tits. Group tends to lean left (the genuine ones.)

"Sex positivity" group. Similar to the above group with the same horny fakes in that group. Group tends to lean left (the genuine ones.)

Horny men/women" group. This group likes to masquerade often as one of the above groups. Sometimes this group is brazen for what they are. But both the left and the right has its horny bunch that just want to see big breasted women in scantily clothes. That also think there's some conspiracy against sexy women. Both just come at the conspiracy differently.

"Anti woke/cancel culture" group. This group calls any game that doesn't have flopping scantily clad breast to have "ugly women" in it. They're honestly a sub group of the above. Group tends to lean right.

Then you have the ones against it:
"Porn is evil" group. This group is self explanatory and tends to lean right.

"Respect woman" group. Pretty self explanatory, women are often objectified for entertainment. Group tends to lean left.

"Not a fan of egregious fanservice" group. Self explanatory, and both groups can be in here. As some entertainment does go overboard and not everyone finds it necessary, and frankly just annoying.

There's several other groups in both the for and against camps, but my point is this isn't a politically aligned thing for being for or against this. Despite some shoehorning every nuanced discussion into 2 categories.
