Someone already mentioned them slightly changing Armin's line, but I think the bigger deal was the post-credits. I looked it up just now and it doesn't convey time passing nearly as well. It goes from Mikasa dying from old age to Paradis being bombed to hell. The only indicating that time passed is that the buildings became skyscrapers. So it very much came across as them getting like fifty or sixty years of peace, then being obliterated anyway.

I thought it was a solid ending. It was not the peak of the show, but I don't think it ruined the entire series or anything. It ended as well as I could expect.

I mean, I've only seen the anime and thought it was perfectly clear there were hundreds of years that passed. Skyscrapers don't just happen overnight.
