Yes. I have heard from those in the industry that there are plans to build such fabs in the US in the near future. Yes, it will take time, but the industry--at least the American side--is already planning for it.
If I am not mistaken, those plans are made under Biden, so Trump might throw a fit and put those plans in the garbage if Trump gets re-elected.

Russia can take Europe with it when it does destroy itself. We shoukd not want that. I really do think that Putin is delusional enough to go to war with NATO. At the very least, his gains in Ukraine has European capitals spooked, and that increases the chances of something bad happening. China tends to collapse upon itself in civil war one the Mandate disapears, so they're the lesser threat.

Yeah, I forgot about NK. They're also a huge threat led by a madman. But I do not think them as big of one as Russia.
To me, Russia has old ass nukes that might not even be operational.
North Korea has done more nuclear tests than anyone else in modern times so their nukes are operational.
