You don't think kids were reading X-Men?Of course they were. But that doesn't change that comic book cartoons censored things alot. They removed all blood, wouldn't even have guns, Spider-Man couldn't even punch people in the nineties cartoon. Except for the Spot. Comic standards have always been looser then TV standards, since the eighties anyway.
