They died mostly due to their own choices. Trump influenced it, but they chose themself to disregard safety measures like masks they could have complied with regardless of what Trump says. This is ignorant. Trump's inactions in regards to Covid cost millions of lives. The US had it worse than most countries largely because of the way he chose to deal with Covid. It wasn't just that people weren't wearing masks or getting vaccinated. That came a bit later.
