I didn't know I was supposed to stay aware of some other stranger on the internet's personal mental health condition lest I say something that legitimately triggers them because of something I was unaware of? That's such a weird thing to foist onto someone else. If you're not in a good space, don't respond or engage with something, it's not my responsibility to stay up to date on how someone else might be when I don't know them.

As for the rest of it, yes, all their videos are not just negative doom parades of content. Anyone that says that's the case is lying, there's plenty of self awareness about the content & more lighthearted material that does exist. If you're complaining about me "insulting" you, you wouldn't have ass pulled a large quote about a straw man you made in your head as your first response to me mate.

I'm not going to have a trauma dump to you in response to prove why I have an outlook that you think is just a jest or 'personality quirk' because you have your own issues you're dealing with. I do wish you luck on fixing your situation, but it's so fucking weird to just think my situation isn't comparable to yours when there was never a competition for it

I wasn't singling you out for not taking pessimism seriously enough, it's a societal problem at this point, people spreading negativity and hopelessness at every opportunity with no regard for people who would or are forced to internalize that view of the world. I understand that sometimes it comes from people who actually are being hurt by it and deal with it in a way I definitely do not (joking about things that are genuinely worrying me is something I never do), but I don't feel like a topic about a YouTube video game commentator is an appropriate place to say the world is getting worse in every way and we should just deal with it.
